snake bit

Around this time last year I got called for jury duty.  It was a civil malpractice kind of deal where a teenager had died of complications from a snake bite at her parents' lake house.  They are notorious for setting up a cascade of organ failures if you don't get the anti-venom.  I sat behind them in the holding cell for potential jurors and quickly took an exit because of my employment.  Thank you Judge Moore

I don't know how much money they got but it will never bring their daughter back.  Bad things happen all the time and what we do with them defines who we are.  I had a job interview today with a new client.  She is sweet as pie and old as the hills. I made a few new friends.  Life is good. ^j^
