the long game

There have been a lot of losses for me personally in the past few years and I am not alone.  Many folks that I love and admire have been through much worse than myself, yet my grief is legitimate and real to ME.  Everyone who reads this blog and pays attention knows that my physical limitations are becoming more pronounced.  I have a 5 year old ostomy named Poopie and am slowly losing my vision due to macular degeneration.  I cannot drive safely any longer.  I live on the farm that has been my home for most of my life and that may change as well.  

My spirit is quite tough and always has been.  I fight for what I believe in with all my soul even if it seems futile.  My faith in God is a gift that, along with grace, allows to believe that God is good and there is a reason for everything.  With that being said, I refer to Don't Look Up and the screaming quote "We' are all gonna' die!"  I should probably not be watching Congressional hearings at this point because my mental health suffers.  Today's watch was another one featuring an empty witness chair where Musk did not show up to give an accounting of what DOGE is doing.  He's too busy preventing white genocide in his own country.  This is just another distraction like the conspiracy theory about Biden's cancer.  At what point does a president quit blaming others for the present?    With Trump, never.  He tried to humiliate the president of South Africa just like he did the Ukranian leader.  It's all show and bullying.  White genocide?  Honey please.  At the same time you are giving the Guzman family and inlaws and outlaws a "safe" place here in the good old USA.   

It blows my mind that people don't understand what is going on here.  How many of you Trumpers are actually up to date with what is going on?  Ignorance is bliss I guess.  I fear for our country under this ridiculous leadership.  Anybody with half a lick of sense knows that Musk inserted himself into the fray just long enough to get some big government contracts.  He did the DOGE thing and laughed about it while Trump told us to use fewer pencils and have fewer dolls.  This from a man who is enriching himself by playing footsie with Middle Eastern leaders to further enrich his empire.  

In other news, we have two beagle mix babies hanging around and there is no room at the inn for them at either local volunteer facilities.  There is no city or county run place for strays and vet help with spay and neuter to control this growing population.  We are pretty soft hearted around here when it comes to animals.  These beagles are obviously well fed and used to being in the house because they try to come into mine.  They hang out on the front porch just chilling until they get ready to roam for a bit.  

I am in transition right now, trusting in God to lead me in the right direction while asking Him what he wants ME to do with the rest of my life.  Lauren and I do prayer and worship together when we both happen to be here.  She is worried about me stressing all the time because well, it is what it is.  She began a new job today so that's a plus.  Everything is up in the air at the moment.

I beg all of you to show compassion and understanding.  Meet people where they are and get out of your own head long enough to comprehend that we are all different and all children of God. We are equal in His eyes without regard to race, religion or personal life choices.  Exclusion is not how He rolls.  I am so thankful for my parents teaching me that.  Y'all keep the faith ^j^
