commiit

I am not one to finish projects, though I always have grand ideas.  It could be just because I have ADHD and can't focus.  Much like Elon, I go about life putting out fires.  And I don't even have a decent hose.  As a closet pyro, I have set fire to many plots of land that bordered the old house on the hill.  Once upon a time I was burning off the asparagus bed and Debbie Elder Cox helped me stop it with two brooms and a rake.  Daddy just laughed when he followed the smoke up there.  "It'll stop when it hits the road" he said.  And he was right.  That man helped me safely rake and burn a half acre of pine needles.  Well, maybe not that much ;)

I am at a crossroads with my old life and looking for something better.  For some reason or another I have become hopeless even though I  try to keep faith.  It comes in spurts when I least expect it.  That is grace of all sorts. Lauren has made me a little altar on a side table.  At any particualar time it may also contain a roll of toilet paper and my med basket.  Always a bit of white sage and the occasional BC powder.

Bubbie the Siamese is coming around more often and Rose is loving it.   They court at night and it is hilarious to see how she postures.  What.A.Diva.  I am quite thankful that the beagles are gone home.  There is another one who lives down by the river who comes running down the road on occasion.  He is not welcome on the porch.  Yard mowing is in full swing and my allergies know it.

Y'all be careful out there #HillStreetBlues
